Here here! He remains my favorite Conan comics artist after all these years.

He was definitely one of the all-time greats. I'm actually having a Conan tattoo done on my leg soon, of a Marvel What If cover featuring Conan, by John Buscema. I also loved his work on the Avengers in the 80's.

P.S.
I have Thor tattooed on my other leg.

His was the first Conan that I saw as a kid. His art inspired me then and continues to inspire me now.

Same for me!
Mr Buscema was my very first source of inspiration for drawing, and he will always be!
I remember when,at 12 years old I first turned the pages of"Iron shadows in the moon"from him,Roy Thomas and A.Alcala,it was one of the major visual shocks in my life(along with HR Giger's works and Gustave Moreau's paintings)

The man was a giant, and many of us are still working in his shadow.
