This blog was originally started by Reis and posted on Myspace way back in 2006, but he decided to move it to the larger, more accessible Blogger network in 2008, to better reach the large Conan fan base.
These blog posts represent our personal fandom and are a collection of whatever we can find on our favorite son of Cimmeria. If we find it on the web, we try to post it here. Some of the content, such as fan art, custom action figures and the like are not always used by permission, but we have only posted them out of great respect for fellow fans to enjoy. However, if you see something on here of yours and you'd prefer we took it down or notice that we haven't given proper credit, feel free to let us know and we'll fix it as soon as we can.
We sincerely hope you enjoy the blog and we encourage you all to please make comments and share your thoughts!
That particular shade of orange should be renamed sixties shag, or seventies sofa...and a gigantic "HAIL!" to you Chad...welcome to CROM, the greatest place on earth.
Was aware that there was a Conan Mego from the pictures on the back of the boxes. Never even saw one for real and up close. It, like The Thing doll, was a holy grail of shopping. Cool pic.
And does anyone else in the world have trouble typing in a verification code to publish comments but me?
Nah, it's not just you Gary, those word verifications can be tricky at times. Maybe your browser is part of the problem - if you're using IE try something else.

That dolly has beautiful locks for hours of brushing fun.
I always liked Mego! I used to have some of the Star Trek ones and a Spider-Man doll. I saw that Toys r Us is carrying reissued Mego dolls.
Yeah, my Batman was always my favorite and I just scored one in really great condition a little while back, along with a Spider-man in okay condition.
With my Conan that makes 3 that I have and I even bought the new Bats and Superman at TRU.
Oh, and calling them "dolls" only encourages Bubbashelby. ;)
The funny thing is, the face reminds me of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Maybe he was hired to play Conan because he looked like the Mego figure? ;)
With a face like that, he really needs to be sitting on a barbie toilet! :P

I need no encouragement ;)
That's a custom card. Not original to the era but the figure is.
