…and it also featured one of a small handful of Conan comics created by Turkish artists. It’s the Conan/Superman crossover that I mentioned on Crom! long ago, by Yildirim Örer and Sezai Ýdi.
I know it’s nothing special, but Turkish is an extremely difficult language to translate, so you will either enjoy it or know the kisses of the queens of Hell!

As a bonus here’s another episode of Angut Şipşakkesergezer, also courtesy of Yildirim Örer and appearing on the back cover of the same weekly series from Alfa (in this case, Issue #70)...

Now I just need to find the motivation to translate that Turkish Conan/Tarzan crossover!

Hi from Turkey. I have been following your wonderful blog for years. I'm a big fan of Conan comics and collecting them for years. Various Conan comics have been published in Turkey since June 1981. Although Italian comics (fumetties)are more popular in Turkey, lots of Conan readers and fans living here:) Now we are reading Dark Horse's Conan:The Cimmerian sery in Turkish and SSOC #4. Of course I purchase Conan comics&TPBs&REH books in English. Anyway I can help you to translate Conan vs Tarzan in English.
See you, bye
